While at a cousin’s bridal shower in Massachusetts this summer I came across a beautiful salad that contained mescaline lettuces, watermelon, and what we all thought was pineapple. But as soon as I took a bite of that bright yellow fruit, I was surprised to find it wasn’t pineapple but more of a melon.
